The science of putting carbon back in the ground.

An inside look at how Pangaea engineers compost-based fertilizers, remediates digestate at biogas plants, and monitors carbon outcomes at field scale from end to end.

04 - Standards & certification

Soils are losing their ability to grow our food.

Decades of synthetic-fertilizer dependence and declining organic matter have left some farming regions producing up to half of what they used to - at higher input cost, with worse climate outcomes.

Pangaea's answer is a closed-loop system: organic, compost-based fertilisers enriched with biochar and amendments, dialled to each crop and soil profile. Designed to outperform synthetic competitors over time, while sequestering carbon as a matter of course.

Blending & Bagging

IoT Monitoring

Highly stable carbon scaffolding inside every blend - boosts microbial activity, locks carbon below ground, and turns the fertilizer itself into a sequestration vector.

Compost meets strict UK/EU quality, safety and environmental thresholds — making the product a marketable, certifiable input across multiple jurisdictions, not a regional curiosity.

Full vertical control over how each blend is mixed, dosed and packaged — the only way the tailor-made model is commercially feasible at customer scale.

Probes verify the blend hits its target parameters before release — so every bag matches the spec, and every batch is traceable for buyers and regulators.

02 - Digestate Remediation

Turning a biogas-plant byproduct into a clean nutrient input.

Nutrient Extraction

Wastewater Remediation

Ultrafiltration upgrades digestate quality while stripping contaminants. The solid–liquid separation step routes dried solids to our blending facility for re-use.

03 - Farm Monitoring

A cloud platform that watches every plot — and every tonne of carbon.

Pangaea-engineered probes feed a cloud-based control hub, putting soil health and sequestration impact in front of farmers and operators in real time.

Soil health and carbon impact on one screen.

IN DEVELOPMENT

Our agri-tech platform pulls every parameter from the field probes and puts it in front of the customer through a single user interface — so they can see not just what's happening to their soil, but what it means for the carbon they're putting back in the ground.

04 - Standards & Certifications

Built to be a marketable, regulated input.

Our compost program is engineered against the BSI PAS-110 specification - the British Standards Institution's quality threshold for digestate-derived materials, recognized across UK and EU markets.

BSI PAS-110, in simple terms.

PAS-110 sets quality, safety and environmental thresholds that compost-based products must meet to be sold as a defined, regulated product rather than waste. Hitting it means our blends can move freely across the markets that matter.
